The Stihl MS 400 C-M is a 66.8cc  2-stroke professional chainsaw with M-Tronic electronic fuel management, which automatically adjusts the carburetion map for altitude, temperature, and fuel quality without manual tuning. It accepts 20" to 25" guide bars. Despite comparable displacement to the MS 461, the MS 400 C-M is significantly lighter. Because M-Tronic manages fuel mixture electronically, maintenance focuses on fuel filter cleanliness and line integrity rather than carburetor needle and seat adjustment. Well-suited for crews working across varying elevations.
