The Husqvarna 240 is a 38.2cc 2-stroke chainsaw aimed at casual homeowner use for light firewood, limbing, and storm cleanup with 14" to 16" guide bars. The X-Torq engine reduces fuel consumption and emissions. The 240 runs a Zama carburetor and uses NGK BPMR7A or Champion RCJ6Y spark plugs shared across most Husqvarna consumer saws. The inertia-activated chain brake and combined choke/stop control are standard safety features. Routine service items are the air filter, spark plug, fuel filter, and primer bulb.
