Honda GX340
4-Stroke
The Honda GX340 is a 338cc 4-stroke overhead-valve engine in the upper-mid tier of Honda's GX commercial series, used in construction equipment, larger pressure washers, generators, and industrial pumps. It uses a Keihin float-type carburetor and NGK BPR6ES or Champion RC12YC spark plugs. The GX340's torque output makes it suited for sustained load applications — concrete saws, stump grinders, and high-pressure pumps. Routine maintenance every 100 hours: oil change (SAE 10W-30), air filter cleaning or replacement, and spark plug inspection. The Keihin main jet and needle/seat are the primary fuel system service items.
